The truth, what’s good and what’s not
The staff were incredibly helpful and attentive, contributing to a wonderful experience. The gym facilities were impressive, with free weights and cardio machines available to keep me active.
The location isn't ideal as it's not within walking distance of the Haram. taxi rides are necessary to reach it.

My stay at Courtyard By Marriott Makkah was delightful. The friendly staff provided excellent service, especially during breakfast, which featured a delightful selection of sweet breads and fresh omelets. The hotel also offers a convenient shuttle service to the Haram every 30 minutes.

The hotel provided a travel shuttle for quick access.
During my stay, the shuttle service was unreliable and took a long time to arrive, causing significant delays for our plans. Furthermore, the cleaning crew entered our room multiple times without any prior notice, which made us feel uncomfortable and invaded our privacy. Additionally, we experienced issues with the room's phone not working throughout our stay, forcing us to make tiring trips to the front desk for every request.

the staff did absolutely nothing when my room wasn't cleaned despite my requests. They definitely need to train their team better. Also, the shuttle took forever and I had to wait 35 minutes, which is so uncalled for. I expected some kind of upgrade or complimentary service for all the inconvenience, but I guess I’m just a regular guest here.

Surprised in the best way!
I was pleasantly surprised by the amenities! The hotel lobby was modern and inviting, offering complimentary Saudi coffee and detox water. My room was spacious and impeccably clean, equipped with all necessary comforts. Breakfast options were delicious, adding to the exceptional experience. Staff, especially at reception, were incredibly kind and accommodating.
